Error Code E3

Wash lid is either open or the lid lock failed. On a Frigidaire Washing Machine, code E3 points to the sensor.

To resolve the E3 error, unplug the power cord, reconnect it and attempt to operate the washer again. On a LG Washing Machine, code E3 points to the drain pump.

This code means the dryer's internal components cannot communicate with each other. Shut off the dryer for 60 seconds, and then turn it back on again. On a Samsung Dryer, code E3 points to the sensor.

An overflow condition was detected, often from excess detergent.

Overflow Errors: The washing machine thinks there is too much water in the machine - it could be the sensor malfunctioning. Turn the washer off and check the level. On a Samsung Washing Machine, code E3 points to the inlet valve.

Power unit down by turning off the circuit breaker(s) for 5 minutes. On a Whirlpool Dryer, code E3 points to the power supply.
