Error Code 6E

This appears if a button on the panel is detected as stuck or continuously pressed. If you get this error, power off the dryer, and then individually touch and release every button on the panel, working back and forth to reach all edges of each button. On a Samsung Dryer, code 6E points to the drive motor.

The water heater is malfunctioning. On a Samsung Washing Machine, code 6E points to the heating element.

Spinning Errors: The machine is not spinning at the proper speed. Check that the load is distributed properly on top loading machines. On a Samsung Washing Machine, code 6E points to the drive motor.

Power unit down by turning off the circuit breaker(s) for 5 minutes. On a Whirlpool Dryer, code 6E points to the power supply.
